EOC: 6 Illicit? What do you think

It seems illicit marketing is really starting to take off in the world today. More and more people are starting to buy fake or remade items for way less than what they would usually pay for. I know that the sale of illicit goods is not right, I know that the people behind the sale and manufacturing of illicit items are bad people, but it seems like they have nothing else to do but this. In this capitalistic world that we live in it seems like if you have nothing why not does something quick and easy. Maybe if we as a world could try and stop corruption from happening, maybe we could not see so many fake hand bags being sold to help make money. But why do people want the illicit items in the first place. Why do people want designer hand bags, why do people want Rolex watches? Why do they think that you need this stuff in the first place? I hate seeing people from developed countries like the U.S., ridiculing people who all they have left are what we left them with. Hey if we didn’t demolish the German and Japanese car industries in WWII, we would all be driving around in foreign car and our economy would be the same as their countries. I think what really needs to change is the way we conduct our global policies with other countries. This whole free trade thing is making the world crazy. If these people could have the same benefits as we do , I really don’t think we would even be talking about this.
